David Gemmell
David Gemmell was born on August 1st, 1948 in West London, England, and died on July 28, 2006. Gemmell is best known for his debut series, Legend. Gemmell was balancing the two jobs of journalism and author from the time of the success of Legend. After Waylander, Gemmell was sacked from his journalism for using the names of his colleagues in his book. He never looked back. Gemmell was to write over thirty books defore his untimely death in 2006.
