Clarinda Harriss Lott was born on March 9, 1939. Lott is a poet, an educator and an administrator. She is a member of American Civil Liberties Union, American Association of University Professors, American Association of University Women, Edgar Allan Poe Society. Lott has reviewed for the Baltimore Sun since 1980 and has contributed more than 300 poems to various periodicals. Night Parrott is a collection of her poetry.
