Colin Bateman is an author and a screenwriter from Northern Ireland. He is known for his gritty but humorous series of crime novels featuring Dan Starkey as the protagonist. Divorcing Jack is the first book in the series of 10 books. Bateman has also written 10 novels of which Chapter and Verse is one, and a number of other series. His contribution to Young Adult literature includes Titanic 2020.
