Crawford Kilian was born in New York, USA on February 7, 1941. Crawford Kilian was born in New York but grew up in Los Angeles and Mexico City. Kilian moved back to New York to attend College. After a two-year tour of duty in the army he became a technical writer for the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in California. After he returned to Canada, Kilian began teaching in two Colleges. It was around this time that he began writing. Kilian has produced many articles on various subjects for many magazines. Redmagic was published in 1995.
