George Bernard Shaw was born in Portobello, Dublin, on July 26, 1856 and died on November 2, 1950 in Ayot Saint Lawrence, in the United Kingdom. Shaw saw a playwright, critic and activist and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1925. Heartbreak House is one of his best known plays. Shaw was a consummate correspondent and was thought to have written many thousands of letters. Agitations is a sample of them.
