James Thurber was an American author, journalist, playwright, cartoonist and wit. Thurber was born on December 8, 1894 in Columbus, Ohio, USA and died on November 2nd, 1961 in New York City. James Thurber is best known for his short stories and his witticisms. He wrote for the New Yorker.
