Marita Conlon-McKenna is an author of books for both children and adults. Marita writes about the things that affect her such as the Famine and the Magdalen Laundry. She is also very involved in helping others develop their talents as she has been chairperson for The Pen, an organisation devoted to helping aspiring writers.
