Michael Crichton was a renowned author, producer and screenwriter. Crichton was born on October 23, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, USA and died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 4, 2008. His main genre was science fiction and thrillers, with Jurassic Park and The Lost World being his most known works. He was also creator and executive producer of ER, a very successful medical drama which was to propel George Clooney into the limelight.
