Michael Dibdin was an English crime fiction author best known for his Aurelio Zen series of novels. Michael Dibdin was born on March 21, 1947 in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and died on March 30, 2007 in Seattle, Washington, United States. These were based in Italy and often depicted Italian life as somewhat different to our current perceptions. Dibdin was nominated for the Dagger Awards in 1991 for 'Dirty Tricks' and in 1998 for 'A Long Finish'. Dead Lagoon is the fourth book in the Aurelio Zen series.
