Neil Gaiman is the author of many successful fantasy novels, short stories and graphic novels. Gaiman was born in 1960 and by the time he was four he could read. He would read his school books as soon as he was given them. He took a liking to C S Lewis's Narnia books and was impressed by The Lord of the Rings. American Gods and Stardust are among his most popular books.
