Pam Ayres was born in Stanford-in-the-Vale, Berkshire, England in 1947. Ayres is the youngest of six children. She has spent many years abroad after joining the WRAF to see some of the world. Pam Ayres has a keen sense of humour and a love of animals and nature, all of which come out in her work. Some Of Me Poetry is a sample of her poetry.
