Reginald Hill was an English crime fiction writer best known for his Dalziel and Pascoe series of crime novels. These stories were later brought to the television screen by the BBC Warren Clarke and Colin Buchannon as Dalziel and Pascoe respectfully. A Clubbable Woman is the first novel in the Dalziel and Pascoe series of crime novels. Hill was born on April 3, 1936 in West Hartlepool, England and died on January 12, 2012 i Cumbria, England.
