Damian Corless has had many careers, from supermarket work to rock star in waiting. It was when he fell into journalism that he discovered his niche. From Hot Press to In Dublin Damian showed his creative skills to great effect. He moved to Magill where he started as stand-in editor and progressed to Political Editor. Gubu Nation and Party Nation show his skills of portraying farsical situations in a comical light. In treating these subjects as comedy Corless was able to get the message of how we treat our leaders across. Maybe, just maybe we will learn.
Book Review:Damian Corless - Gubu NationThe subtitle of this book is Grotesque Unbelievable Bizarre Unprecedented Happenings in Ireland. And I think that says it all.
