Book Review:This book was serialised in the magazine Sunday at Home in the 1850`s and was one of the first of its kind by a `name` author. This is a story of salvation. It is the salvation through religion from the rigours of street life where poverty is prevelent,in a big city where there are many inequalities. It is also a scenario where children and death are synonymous.
