H G Wells was born on September 21, 1866 in Bromley, England and died on August 13, 1946 in Regent's Park, London, England. H G Wells was an English author of novels, short stories and political commentaries. Wells was the author of the book 'War of the Worlds'. His namesake, Orson Wells dramatically broadcast the story over the radio, bringing chaos to the streets of America, as many of the public believed that they were being invaded by aliens.
