Harper Lee was born on April 28, 1926 in Alabama in the United States. She died in Alabama on February 19, 2016 at the age of 89. Harper Lee began her education in Monroeville public school and progressed to Huntington College for one year.From there she enrolled in the University of Alabama and then to Oxford University. Harper Lee is mostly famous for her novel, To Kill a Mockingbird which won her the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1961.
