Norman Mailer was many things. He was a novelist, biographer, journalist, activist, film-maker, to name a few of his activities. Mailer was born on January 31, 1923 in Long Branch, New Jersey, USA, and died on November 10, 2007 in Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA. Mailer was shrouded in controversy since he was outspoken and extrovert and not afraid in any way to voice opinions that were not popular at the time. The Gospel According to the Son is adaptation of the life of Jesus.
Book Review:This is an historical fiction of Egypt.

Book Review:The Gospel According to the Son is the remarkable story of a skilled and most devout carpenter living with prodigious questions. Is God speaking to me? Or am I hearing voices? Vividly recreating the world of Galilee and Jerusalem of two thousand years ago Norman Mailer has written an intimately readable account of a man thrust forward by the visions he receives.
