Peter Hoeg was born on May 17, 1957. Hoeg is an author of fiction novels. Before that, Hoeg took on many employments and he used these experiences in his books. He rose to International fame with Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow. His follow up books have not received the same acclaim and Hoeg stayed out of the limelight for ten years before publishing again. Hoeg;s books are quite different to each other and this may be why his later work has not been received so well. People want more of the same and perhaps the audience feel disappointed that something different is put before them.
Book Review:A little boy falls off a roof in Copenhagen and is killed. Smilla, his neighbour, suspects it is not an accident: she has seen his footsteps in the snow, and, having been brought up by her mother, a Greenlander, she has a feeling for snow.
