Peter de Rosa is an author of non-fiction, mainly about Catholic issues or issues he has with the Catholic Church. De Rosa became a priest in 1956 but left in 1970. Vicars of Christ is De Rosa's critique of the Catholic Church and what he thinks should be done. De Rosa also took time out from his criticism of the Catholic Church to write a sit-com for ITV called 'Bless Me Father'. There were 21 episodes, which went out between 1978 and 1981. There was also a series of 6 books written under the pseudonym, Neil Boyd.
