Philippa Gregory was born on January 9, 1954. Philippa Gregory is a very popular author of historical and romance novels. Several of her novels have been adapted for both film and tv presentations and she has won awards for these. Her script, her own adaptation of her novel, The Wise Woman, was nominated for a BAFTA. The Red Queen is the second book in the Cousin's War series.
