Susan Faludi is an American author, journalist and a humanist. Faludi was born on April 18, 1959. She has won a Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Journalism in 1991 for a report on the human costs of high finance. Faludi argues for the cause of feminism, but not on the basis of excluding men. Her books, Backlash: The Undeclared War Against American Women and The Terror Dream describe how women are treated as un-equals, but alongside this her book Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Man argues that most men are treated unfairly and also get a bad deal.
