Vincent Bugliosi was deputy publisher of Picador until 2008. Vincent Bugliosi was born in Hibbing in Minnesota on August 18, 1934. He died in Los Angeles on June 5, 2015. Bugliosi was a prosecuting attorney and author, probably best known for his successful prosecution of Charles Manson for his part in the Tate LaBianca murders in 1969. Manson claimed that the Beatles song Helter Skelter called him to make these murders happen. Bugliosi later wrote a book Helter Skelter which describes the case.
