David Yallop was an English author of True Crime books. Yallop also wrote for television including 10 episodes of Crown Court in the 1970's. More recently he wrote for EastEnders.David Yallop's most controversial book is In God's Name, where he alleged that Pope John 1 was poisoned just one month after taking office in 1978. David Yallop was born in London, England on January 27, 1937, and died also in London on August 18, 2018 as a result of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
